Encrypted in your browser before it leaves
Send a file.
Only the link and its password open it.
Up to 50 MB. The key is made from the link and a password you choose, so nor stores a file it cannot read, and deletes it after a short time or its first download.
Your link is ready
Not in the same message as the link. Say it on a call, or send it as a private message on chat.normake.com, nor's own chat.
“Email it” opens your own email app; nothing is sent through nor. “Delete now” works only on this page, so keep it open if you may want it.
Deleted
The file is gone from nor, and the link no longer works.
Sealed here
Your browser makes a random key and encrypts the file with it (AES-256-GCM) before uploading. The name and type are encrypted too.
The link and a password
The key comes from both: part sits after the # in the link, which browsers never send to a server, part is your password. nor holds only bytes it cannot open.
Then it is gone
Each file lives 10 minutes to an hour, and by default only until its first download. A download that breaks halfway does not count.
